John Finnerty

John is from Ballinasloe, County Galway and has been playing music to appreciative audiences for over 34 years from youth discos at the beginning to Pubs, Clubs. Private clients and Corporate functions all over Ireland.  Having previously worked in Pirate Stations and Shannonside / Northern Sound Fm, John’s passion for radio presenting was rekindled when he was offered the opportunity to join the team at Planetradio.ie. John is enthusiastic and passionate about all types of music, and this is reflected in each of his his radio shows.

“Jingle John” alongside fellow presenter Ollie Moran, is involved in the production and imaging aspects of the station.
